I recently had breast implant removal along with a breast reduction and lift. I am so happy with the results. I have a whole new life now without the baggage of large breasts. Dr. Castillo listened to all of my concerns and carried out my wishes of having small, size B breasts. He was phenomenal in the months leading up to surgery and checked in on my daily, then weekly following surgery. He was SO quick to email back and answer questions or concerns I had. His bedside manner was comforting, but professional. I would 10/10 recommend using Dr. Castillo for surgery. It will absolutely change your life!

Choosing Dr. Castillo was the best thing I could have done for myself. I found him through a Reddit post and when I found him on RealSelf— I was honestly very suspicious of his high rating and so I booked other consults. After feeling meh at best about others, I figured I’d at least do a consult and move on since I was so in love with that redditor’s results. It’s hard for me to describe how impressed AND comfortable I’ve been this whole process. If I have a dumb question and reach out, I know he’ll answer or at worse get back to me as soon as he’s available. I expected to be scraped off or left hanging at least once, but Castillo comes through not just in the consult, surgery, and post op care and attention, but the whole process. I had an administrative question over the weekend and instead of leaving it for his staff, he emailed me answering the question directly. This dude is a perfectionist and is aiming for your best result. I’ve seen hundreds, maybe even thousands, of results over the 2.5 years since I decided I was doing this. I hoped to look half this good a year post op; the fact this is what I look like 6 weeks out is bonkers (you can see this post with the photo on his RealSelf, as the image violates guidelines for this platform). 10/10 would recommend.

I would love to lie, and say I was satisfied with my results especially with the amount of money I spent, but instead, I will tell the truth and say it may be wise to look else where for a tummy tuck. I can only speak for the tummy tuck because that is all i received I am a small frame individual that had loose skin after loosing weight from having kids. This doctor's results are not good. I plan to make post my results on realself so you don't make the mistake I did seeing that you most likely saved to have this service or you are financing it either way that's too much money and time to waste, and if this Dr. states he doesn't know me or haven't been to this office for surgery I will certain post receipts in the form of the email of my appoint and the follow up emails after surgery just be careful, and If you are wondering, I am African American. I am only stating this because people offend want to know and I don't have a problem sharing.

I found Dr Castillo while searching for a surgeon to fix what another local Atlanta surgeon had botched (see my other reviews for who NOT to go to). Because this was a revision, I had a lot of anxiety about trying to choose the right surgeon this time… no easy feat in these days of fake reviews. I had consultations with 4 plastic surgeons, one of which had months long waiting list! That surgeon had nothing but glowing reviews, so imagine my surprise when after waiting 3 months to see him, he spent less than 10 minutes with me. Worse, I found him to be curt, gruff, and dismissive. In stark contrast, Dr Castillo spent an hour with me to make sure all my questions were answered to my satisfaction… which was no small endeavor! He even followed up with me via email in case I had thought of more questions to ask him, which of course I had. I will be the first to admit that am not the easiest person to please. I know my standards tend to be unrealistically high, which usually leads to a lot of disappointment for me. Thankfully, that was not the case with Dr Castillo. He not only called to check on me the evening after my surgery, but he continued to check in with me via phone or email every day after that for the next 2 weeks. He remained nothing but outwardly patient and kind, even if he inwardly may have wanted to scream…. Yeah, I was pesky. But really, can you blame me for being anxious after spending tens of thousands of dollars with a different surgeon only to wind up needing the work redone?! Yet despite my impatience, nit-picking, and endless questions, he never expressed any exasperation towards me. It took a little over a year before I stopped squawking about a millimeter here or there. Now that I am coming up on 2 years, I am very happy with the results, and have since started seeing him for my injectables…. even those results are better! I will only see Dr Castillo from now on. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who is considering injectables and/or plastic surgery. He is an incredibly talented surgeon with an exceptional bedside manner. He will never try to upsell you on things you don’t need, a rarity in any profession.

I had a wonderful experience at the Nelson Center. Dr Castillo spent an hour with me at my consultation visit during which he answered all of my questions and really made me feel at ease. I cancelled my other consultation appointments because I knew that I had found the best surgeon!! He is caring, knowledgeable and really attentive. I’m so happy with my results. I definitely recommend Dr Castillo to all my family and anyone wanting to have a cosmetic procedure.
