I had a transplant a little over a year ago. They said that they transplanted 2500 grafts, but the result does not feel like that. I followed the care rules perfectly along with a “steamed” set of vitamins and shampoos for $400 after the operation. They only did the hairline, the density of which is rated 5/10. Judging by the old photos, the donor area is damaged, but I really hope that everything is not as bad as I saw it in the photo, because now I’m overgrown and can’t check it (the less I know, the better I sleep). However, having delved into this topic in a little more detail, I can confidently say that in other clinics the issue is being addressed more seriously. The first curator left the clinic after a couple of months, after which they left me with a second one, but she forgot about me after a couple of months. It will be a pity for the lost time; you will have to wait a year to understand how bad everything is. Therefore, I want to warn those who are thinking of coming here, because in any case I will have to do a second one, although my problem could have been dealt with on the first try. Although the price is the same as that of other clinics (~$1500-2000), when it comes to transplantation, I would recommend saving a little more money in order to create more confidence in the competence of the doctors and the final result. Body hair, alas, is not endless, so I don’t recommend taking risks

I didn't understand much English, but we communicated through What's App and used a translation app, but he also explained the details and made me feel at ease. You may be worried about going directly by yourself without using an intermediary, but it is very reliable. It's cheap, so please give it a try.
It's a package including airport transfer and hotel, so if you can go to Istanbul, you can manage it.
Mr. Usama, who is a wonderful person in charge, will provide support such as Google Translate even when we are on-site, having meetings, and during surgery, even if we do not have an interpreter. If you are really worried, I think you can arrange for an interpreter separately. The cost is $2000 for up to 4500 shares.

My experience here at Estenbul Health was amazing, and it was mostly due to the incredible service I received from Oussama and Dr Guven.
Oussama has been my contact person since the start. He speaks fluent French, English, Turkish and Arabic. Every time I had questions (and I had many), Oussama was always very fast to reply to them. This was very reassuring since a hair transplant can bring some load of anxiety. Oussama was always with me to translate Dr Guven or the technician/nurse team. My experience would not have been the same without him!
Merci infiniment Oussama 🙏
Dr Guven was very friendly. His English is not fluent so he needs Oussama to translate but you can tell that he is a very good and well intentioned person.
Surgery:
You have to keep in mind that the first 15-20 minutes are very painful with the local anaesthesia injections on your scalp. I was been told of this so it was not a surprise for me. Gladly, I felt no pain after that: no pain during or post-operation.
Sleeping post operation:
It was not easy to sleep with the donut-shaped air-cushion they provided. I would highly suggest you bring your own memory foam cushion (the ones you bring on a plane to sleep).
Transportation:
Always on time. Very nice cars/vans with wi-fi and charging docks for all types of device.
The Dedeman hotel was OK:
- Amazing breakfast in the morning! Very nice people working there as well!
- my room (510) was unfortunately not great. The windows were not well insulated and I could hear the cars on the boulevard. After the surgery, you need all the help you need to sleep and this is not ideal when it’s not quite.
- my room had a curtain missing, thus it was not dark in the morning. Another thing that would need to be fixed.
- rooms would need renovation. They were clean but you can tell they are old (1990s maybe?).
- the lobby has been renovated and look’s great!
Obviously I can say anything about the results since I got the surgery 3 days ago but I will make sure I edit this post in 6-12 months once I start seeing the results.
