I was disheartened after seeing this Dr. I have several health problems. While reading the IME this Dr stated that I was choosing not to work. I wish I was that was the case. Being permanently disabled is not a choice, I do not choose to be sick. When I read my report I was in disbelief, I could not believe what I was reading. Had I not seen an IME Allergist/Immunologist that supported my medical condition, I could have been forced back to work and exposed to infection and could very well have died. I know many IME Dr's side with the employers that hire them, I am not naive to that, but at what cost to the patient? I am permanently disabled, and if I had a choice I would always choose to be well. So sad.
