My name is Karter, Dr Meuller did my breast reduction in July. He did an amazing job but after care was horrific. The possibly Latina nurse with dark kinky curly hair gave me the exact pain reliever that I informed everyone I was allergic to. I don’t know her name but i told the entire team not to give it to me and why before surgery, they said that they would make sure if it. I woke up from surgery and this nurse came up to me and gave me Tylenol and then told me she was also giving me the med I was allergic too. I told her no and repeated that I was allergic to it. She said that they had already had my mom pick it up from the pharmacy so I had no choice. I took only the Tylenol and fell back asleep she woke me up 5 minutes later and handed it to me while I was still groggy and said “you need to take this” I was still too out of it from surgery to connect the too interactions. I had a horrible reaction and it felt like all my nerves were in fire and I couldn’t talk and was in too much pain to understand what was going on, the nurse said “oh your fine” condescendingly. Until she realized I wasn’t and they had to keep me in the hospital and push heavier drugs for me to recover. She stepped away from my care and I never got her name, her name is not on my chart either. Then after surgery my incision kept splitting and oozing, my scars are huge and the after care team just kept telling me it was normal. My scars are large and ridiculous. Muellers work was beautiful in the beginning but I’m sad to say it isn’t now.

Dr. Reid Mueller is absolutely fantastic. He is extremely strong at his job and carries the skills in his field but also he presents with such great bedside manner. I was never given a chance for a severe skin condition I’ve suffered with for a large part of my life, I was told there was no treatment and when I did find some treatments and procedures I was turned down by everyone I saw. When I came to Ohsu Dr mueller was straight forward on how to get where I needed to be strong enough for surgeries while being supportive as well. I have never saw myself where I’m at today, and though I still have the road ahead of me I sure made it through a lot. I have Dr Mueller to thank for that when it comes to miracles. His surgeries his done on me I wouldn’t ever change because his talent and intelligence shines through his work. Highly recommend!

Had a double mastectomy here with Dr. Juliana Hansen, aka gender reaffirming top surgery. I'm very happy with the results, and chose to go without nipple grafts, which they respected. My recovery has been very fast, I'm only a week in and I'm already off my pain meds and moving around. The team fielded my anxiety on the day and my worried phone calls after with grace. They also listened to me when I told them there were issues, and they were addressed next-day. They even held my surgery date when I missed my confirmation call and I didn't have to wait again. A+, bravo, y'all are doing really important work.

This Dr. Is a perfect example of plastic surgery Expert. He transformed my scars that I wanted removed on my legs to (prettier) scars. Can’t even see or notice them. He’s the best.
