Procedure Details

The 20-30 minute treatment session is performed discreetly by a single provider at Dr. Robey's private practice. There is minimal to no downtime after treatment.

Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure to change the appearance of the labia majora or minora. Most commonly, the labia minora are reduced because they are too long or different sizes. The labia majora can also be reduced surgically or with radiofrequency tightening.

Recovery Period

Patients can expect some swelling and discoloration after surgery. Most can return to work in a few days. Soaking in water is allowed after 10-14 days, and sexual intercourse is allowed after 4-6 weeks. Swelling may persist to some extent for several months.

Postoperative Care

Routine showering of the surgical site with soap and water is recommended. Dr. Robey recommends application of an ointment for the first week after surgery. Avoid soaking in water for the first 10-14 days.
