Understanding Cosmetic Canthoplasty in Dallas

Cosmetic canthoplasty in Dallas, TX, has become a popular procedure for individuals seeking to enhance the appearance of their eyes. This surgical technique focuses on the outer corner of the eye, known as the canthus, and is designed to create a more vibrant and youthful look.

What is Canthoplasty?

Canthoplasty, also referred to as lateral canthal tightening, is a surgical procedure aimed at altering the shape and contour of the eye by repositioning the outer corner of the eyelids. The surgery involves making an incision at the outer corner of the eyes and either removing a strip of skin or tightening the eyelid muscles.

Benefits of Canthoplasty

  • Improved eye symmetry
  • More youthful and refreshed appearance
  • Enhanced eye shape and contour
  • Correction of droopy or sagging eyelids

Canthoplasty Procedure Cost

The cost of canthoplasty varies depending on procedure complexity. As a standalone procedure, it typically starts at $7,000. When combined with other eyelid surgeries, the cost can be lower, starting around $3,000.

Candidate Requirements

Ideal candidates for canthoplasty are individuals seeking to improve eye symmetry, address lower eyelid retraction, or achieve a more youthful eye appearance. A comprehensive consultation with Dr. Cocco will determine individual eligibility.

Recovery and Expectations

Recovery from canthoplasty typically takes one to two weeks. Patients may experience swelling and bruising during this period. Complete healing and final results may take several weeks to become fully apparent.

Canthoplasty vs. Canthopexy

While both procedures enhance eye appearance, canthoplasty is a more comprehensive surgery involving reshaping and repositioning the eyelids. Canthopexy is a less invasive procedure focusing on lifting the outer eye corners.

Personally, I was not satisfied. More because I have one cheek higher than the other after the bachetonia. I regret it and I think I will regret it all my life. The eyelid surgery. Nothing to do with it. He told me that eventually I would need a lift. eyebrow Why didn't she tell me before that's why it wasn't noticeable But one cheek higher than the other lost money she is very kind but no 😔 I have one cheek 60 and another 40 😭

I am Cherry R. Valladares. Honestly, the best doctor, I loved it, I am satisfied with the lip surgery. It was a dream I had for years, and she made me excellent! I am happy and satisfied with the surgery. Thank you Dr Cocco. God bless me. And I recommend it to the 💯 staff, the girls are very pretty. Very friendly, excellent for everything. God bless you. Thank you 🫶🏻❤️ and blessings. Swelling and pain are very normal in all surgery. But the day after surgery I had no complications and no pain. It's just something very minor. But I'm satisfied.

Good afternoon everyone, I hope my comment can help you not make the mistake that my sister made in this place. As you can see, it is a place that appears to be professional but not experienced, unfortunately for my sister it is too late since she had an operation for drooping eyelids and I honestly still see her as if nothing had been done, I know that she has friends who also had the same thing happen to them, different operations, same results, absolutely no change, only loss of money and a lot of money. Today I recommend that when you want to approach an aesthetic hope, look for friends and family members who have already had the same hope that you want to do. It is sad to see them cry out of desperation at not getting the result they expected. (take your time so they don't fool you).
