My breast reconstruction journey started 22 years ago with my original saline implants that were placed above the muscle. Almost immediately I felt they were firm and I learned I had capsular contracture. I had no idea what that was at the time. Although they didn’t feel or look terrible my left implant ruptured five years after placement so I immediately had it replaced to match the right. Fast forward 11 years and my right implant ruptured. At this point I wanted to make the move to silicone and the doctor suggested we stay above the muscle and just go a little larger to keep it easy. In my first week post-op I already had capsular contracture, again. I felt defeated. They were very big, hard, felt uncomfortable and looked like a cartoon, I hated them. I couldn’t find a sports bra to keep me supported and I had a hard time finding tops I could wear and close over my chest due to their size, then, the neck pain started. The neck pain was unbearable and I knew then I needed to have them addressed. I spent weeks researching surgeons and ultimately scheduled consultations with three doctors. What drew me to Dr. Rahban was his straight forward communication style, his intense attention for detail, and his passion to ensure I was informed of why this happened to me and what was needed to correct it. When he talks, you listen, b/c it’s a level and depth of information no other plastic surgeon will spend the time to share w you, I now know this. After a thorough consult we had a plan and it was much more complex then I ever imagined but I had every confidence in his ability to execute it. We removed my saline implants, corrected my pockets, swapped for a smaller silicone implant that was placed below the muscle and lifted the breasts as well. My neck pain disappeared immediately, my clothes fit the way they should and I now have natural, soft breasts for the first time. Dr. Rahban is everything you want in a surgeon caring for you and delivering your best results, I am so genuinely grateful to have worked with him. I just had my year follow up appointment and my results have held so well. My breasts are soft which has been such a new and wonderful thing to get used to after them being so hard for decades! I can’t recommend Dr. Rahban more highly or strongly. I spent a lot of time listening to his podcast which only further made me know he was the only surgeon I would ever feel comfortable working on my body. Don’t hesitate to do the surgery, you will wish you did it sooner and if you don’t do it w Dr. Rahban you will wish you had. He is an absolutely impeccable human and gifted surgeon!

A long due review! It’s been a few months - 3 exactly - since I’ve undergone a rhinoplasty procedure. I have to say, Dr. Rahban and his team are one of the best. They really did such an amazing job and I am happy to see how my nose is taking shape as it is recovering. I came in for a subtle change to improve the structure of my nose as well as my deviated septum, and I’ve noticed an improvement in my breathing a few weeks after Surgery. I felt confident after Dr. Rahban’s initial response to seeing my nose. He didn’t ask me whose nose I wanted or ask me how small. He gave me his own point of view, a very straight forward, practical, and unique view of my own nose. I wasn’t there to become someone else. I was there to see more clearly the essence of who and what I already am. And he takes that approach in all that he does. He is an artist and will leave you with your own improved nose at the end of the day. Which I adore. That’s priceless. At first, I was shocked to see how my nose looked about a week after surgery. It was still a bit swollen and looked like it was leaning right. But I was reassured that my nose was straight and to give it time. I still think it’s leaning right a bit, but even my friends assure me it looks straight so may very much be in my head. I say this for those who are perfectionists to be gentle with your own judgements while recovering and to get support from those around you. Also, be prepared to truly rest for a week or two. You will need it. And it’s the best thing to help with the swelling. I will come back with another photo update after a year to share how it ended up. And truly, I appreciate all of the LADIES there who support Dr. Rahban’s practice. It wouldn’t be what it is without them, their presence, and their hard work. You are so seen and so appreciated! All the quiet work in the background you do. The scheduling, the maintenance of the hospital, the checkups, and so much more I can’t even imagine. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. (Before is the wide smile. And you can see the profile, my nose has slight downturn. And had a bulbous tip. After is the photo of me wearing pink. About 1.5 months after surgery. The projection of my nose has improved and while still swollen, the overall profile has improved without changing too much.)

Dr. Rahban is amazing! My rhinoplasty results exceeded my expectations. I’m so happy with my nose in a way I could have never imagined. It has been about three months since my surgery, and the recovery was easy, only two weeks with no pain, just minor discomfort in the first week. I originally planned to consult with three doctors, but after meeting Dr. Rahban first, I knew right away he was the one. He described his vision for my nose before I even shared what I wanted, and everything he said aligned perfectly with my thoughts, if not better. He’s also incredibly funny and made the entire experience so comfortable. I couldn’t recommend him more!

My experience with Dr. Rahban and the team was simply put amazing. Let me start by saying I have had at least 4 plastic surgery consults with different plastic surgeons. It wasn't until I came across Dr. Rahban that I decided after watching him for almost 2 years, that I felt comfortable enough to actually proceed. This was mainly because of my age (58) and not his ability to do the job. Im so glad I finally chose him. His team was amazing from the front office to the post opp. The Results: I really went in for a tummy tuck. I later decided that I wanted a breast lift or otherwise known as breast anchor. After the team worked with me to get blood pressure and wt under control. Yes Dr. Rahban suggested these things be done for optimal results, one of the reasons I chose him. If you watch his YouTube pod cast, you will see... he tells the absolute truth about the procedures. He is not just trying to get you in and out. He is as he says "The Hermes Boutique of Plastic Surgery". When i say it's all in the stitching. Dr. Rahban takes great pride in his stitching. The aftercare team recommend was heavenly. It allowed me to rest up after surgery while being cared for attentively. I highly recommend this add on. There was no pain, only normal discomfort from surgery but overall the experience was bar none. I didn't even take the pain pills but one day. Oh back to the procedure. So I went in for the tummy tuck, but ended up being most excited about these newly anchored 16 yr old breast. Lol. They look amazing. I am so pleased I chose Dr Rahban. He simply made the entire experience feel personable and he reduced the anxiety of it all. Check out my 5 week post ops. Only 5 weeks of healing. 6 weeks out and I was back in motion. I know the healing process will only get better. He is a bit on the pricy side but for something so permanent, I wouldn't trust just any one just because they are less costly. 😉 You get what you pay for.

I came in for a consultation for a rhinoplasty and septoplasty in March of 2024 and it was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made. Being a 17 year old girl with an extreme Armenian/Iranian nose was a unique journey growing up. Dr Rahban and his staff were extremely welcoming and Dr Rahban was professional, upfront and honest about everything. He answered all my questions and concerns in a comforting way. On the day of my surgery I was taken care of by delightful staff and anesthesiologist. They made sure that my experience was exceedingly pleasant and I was comfortable the entire time. On both my one week and two week post-op appointment Dr Rahban walked me through how the healing process would be. Hearing about all my friends' horror stories with their nose jobs, I am extremely happy with my decision to give Dr Rahban my full trust. It's been 6 months since my surgery and I am so happy with my results. He took something that I have been self-conscious about for many years and he gave me my confidence back and I feel like a completely different person. I cannot thank him enough for bringing back a sense of happiness within myself.
