The entire experience was positive: parking is easy in a parking lot across the street, the check in was seamless although I was a new patient. The consultation with the NP was comprehensive, she provided excellent advises, very knowledgeable. She built up a treatment plan for the next coming year. Then I had a hydrofacial performed by Mindy, RN. She was very meticulos, worked for more than one hour on blackhead, absolutely no pain and no marks, I got out of there with a glowing face! The products she used for my face were hypoallergenic, I have a dry sensitive skin, most cosmetic products causing red sport and itchiness, the cream she used cause absolutely no reaction. I can’t wait to go back!

If I was only reviewing the results of my surgery, my rating would be higher. Dr. Porter is a very capable surgeon, however her and her office’s communication and transparency regarding what to expect with post-surgical healing and its billing practices were very inaccurate and suspect. For me, they painted a picture of a quick and easy recovery, which couldn’t be farther from reality. Most concerning was the estimate of the OR fees provided pre-surgically which ended up being more than $4000 different from what was actually billed post-surgical. Buyer beware of the underestimated fees provided by Chevy Chase Plastic Surgery in attempt to make the patient’s out of pocket cost appear to be far less significant. Quality of treatment provided not disputed, but transparency and accurate communication definitely lacking at this office and the surgical center these use (Montgomery Surgery Center).
