Horrible Dr. Wasted my money....didn't even tell me what I was and wasn't supposed to do post op. He is nice but has no clue what he's doing at all I had ZERO results because I had ZERO post op instructions. Choose someone else!!

He completed botched my smart lipo job back in June of 2018. He took an uneven amount from the top and bottom. Had a huge indention Right in the middle of my stomach. No one told me I needed to seek lymphatic massages. I learned after my second check-up after he said my stomach was getting hard. That’s a huge expense I wish I had known upfront. Should have done my research. After about 6 months of not being happy with my results and being extremely patient with the process I told him I wasn’t happy and based on other cases it should not be taken as long as it was for the “line” in my stomach to go away. He suggested to do a corrective which cost me $500. It looked better but the line is still there and this time I wasn’t given enough anesthesia and woke up while he was working on me! I begged for more medication to knock me out but wasn’t given anything. Dr. Kern was stubborn as hell and would not take responsibility for the job he had done. I cannot tell you how many appointments we went back and forth because he couldn’t explain why I looked deformed. He would use all types of medical terms in attempt to talk over my head. He kept blaming hormones and that the line was there because I “sat” at a desk all day even though I told him I wore my board all day. I had every reason to keep up with my massages, wear my compression garments and anything else I needed to do to protect my investment. If it wasn’t for the nurses and ladies at the front desk I would have stopped treatment a while a go. They were amazing. After his procedure I then came to google to read the reviews and they were great over all except ONE review on SmartLipo. Lesson learned. Do your research and find another Dr. Don’t let the fact that he’s worked on a couple of social lites and been on TV influence your decision like I did. Those ladies have since had additional procedures from other Doctors. I wish I could share pics. They were horrible!

Horrible smart Lipo results on my abdomen. He refused to fix it told me to get massages. It’s been two years and I regret going here. Wish I could post a photo.
