Understanding Breast Lift Surgery (Mastopexy)

Breast lift surgery addresses breast sagging (ptosis) caused by factors such as childbearing, significant weight loss, or aging. As breasts lose skin elasticity and volume over time, they can become less firm and positioned lower on the chest. A mastopexy procedure can restore a more youthful, elevated breast contour.

Ideal Candidates for Breast Lift

  • Healthy patients without nicotine use for over one month
  • Stable weight maintained for six months
  • Experiencing breast drooping from weight loss, breastfeeding, or aging
  • Maintaining realistic surgical expectations

Breast Lift Procedure Objectives

Dr. Brown's surgical goals for a breast lift include:

  • Creating a more round and attractive breast shape
  • Reducing areola size and stretched appearance
  • Improving breast projection
  • Repositioning breasts higher on the chest wall
  • Enhancing overall breast firmness

Surgical Technique

The breast lift procedure involves strategic incision placement based on the degree of breast ptosis. Incision types range from circumareolar for minimal sagging to an "anchor pattern" for more significant lifting. Dr. Brown meticulously reshapes breast tissue, removes excess skin, and carefully sutures to minimize scarring.

Recovery Expectations

Patients should plan for a six-week recovery period, avoiding vigorous activities and heavy lifting. Individual recovery times may vary, and Dr. Brown provides personalized post-operative guidance during consultation.

Additional Considerations

A breast lift alone may not significantly increase breast volume. In cases where patients desire fuller upper breast volume, a breast lift can be combined with breast augmentation for optimal results.

This review is long awaited, do not trust Dr.Brown! He gave me 2 completely different sized breast implants and was not the size I told him I wanted and we agreed on before surgery… I wanted DD & he kept pushing me to get D I said NO multiple times… the morning of surgery (while I’m already starting to go under anesthesia so im not sober to comprehend the conversation properly & he knew that) he says to me “so D cup, right?” & starts laughing… I said NO DD. Not the last thing you want your Dr. to say to you before you go under… sure enough I woke up with D not DD. Not only did he do what he wanted NOT what I wanted but the implants ARE DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT SIZES!!!!! He said he did this cause “that’s what natural breasts look like”… a 420cc & a 475cc is not even close to the same size. You can see my breasts are different size in pictures, in person, even other plastic surgeons have told me my breasts look botched because of Dr. Brown…. almost 10 years later and I still hate my breasts after all that money I spent. DO NOT GO TO HIM!

You should be ashamed of yourself and you should lose your license. Body shaming anyone is awful. You are not a kind human. Karma.

I would never trust a doctor who bullies patients online for clout. Zero ethics. I would never recommend him.
