Dr. Eftekhari might be one of the worst doctors I’ve ever seen. If I could give a zero I totally would. My mother went to go see him for eyelid surgery and ended up with worse eye sight and a major droop in her eye. Went back multiple times and all we were told is he can’t do anything for us and won’t refund us at all and to go see another doctor. Do yourself a favor and avoid this guy at all costs.

Dr. Eftekhari and his staff are amazing. I was nervous going into the surgery and his staff took great care to make sure I was ready. Dr. Eftekhari called me later that night after my surgery to check up on me and two more members of his staff called over the weekend to check in on me. I would recommend Dr. Eftekhari.

I saw Dr Eftekhari for a chalazion (stye) removal in my upper eyelid. Mine was also closer to my eye duct. Dr. Eftekhari was very thorough explaining everything as he went through the procedure as well as getting my medical history prior to the procedure. (The medical history is filled out by me in the paperwork I do when checking in. I saw another review, saying medical history wasn’t taken, but I assume that means the patient probably did not fill the paperwork out or read through the paperwork when filling it out to give her own medical history. Once the medical history was filled out, we talked about all medical history that I had put in my paperwork.) Dr. Eftekhari is one of the most caring, smart, attention to detail doctors I have ever gone to. I felt very comfortable and well cared for during and after the procedure. It has fully healed, and I am back to baseline. I’m so happy I went to see him as this stye was much worse than some of my others. I highly recommend going to Dr. Eftekhari for any, and all of your eye needs. In another review, I saw a patient mentioned vision loss. I talked to my ophthalmologist who said styes can cause stigmatism (which can cause vision impairment as it changes the shape of your eye) The ophthalmologist explained that this is due to the pressure that puts on your eye, and it doesn’t happen with every stye, but it can happen, depending on how many stye you’ve had and how long the stye has been putting pressure there. This makes total sense to me. I have had multiple styes, but thankfully, no vision loss though I definitely wouldn’t blame a doctor on my bodies response to a stye. When I told the ophthalmologist that I went to Dr. Eftekhari, he told me that that’s the doctor that he would refer me to for surgical procedures on the eye. Dr. Eftekhari is a very great doctor. I highly recommend him and have recommended him to friends and family if I could give him more stars, I definitely would!
