My surgeon was kind, the nurse was attentive, and the anesthesiologist was incredibly empathetic. However, I do wish I had been better prepared for what recovery would truly entail. The consultation also felt a bit awkward, cold, and not very informative. Maybe they assumed I wasn’t financially prepared since this office is on the pricier side. Dr Ahmad was the plastic surgeon for Dr. Bassin, but he opened up his own practice. His prices are cheaper, and it includes the lymphatic massages that you NEED to get the results that you want. I wish I would’ve known that prior to booking with them. I have a high pain tolerance. I’ve had two natural births with no epidural, endured laser tattoo removal without lidocaine, and handled it all like a champ. But this pain? It was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. If it weren’t for my lymphatic drainage massage therapist, I don’t think I would have recovered as well as I have. If you’re considering liposuction, make sure you have someone to support you during recovery. It’s a lot physically and emotionally. Now, let me tell you what truly has impacted me and my family. My lymphatic drainage massage therapist! I cannot get over this angel of a human being. At first, I was skeptical about lymphatic massages. With so many tutorials on YouTube, I figured my husband who is quite capable, could just learn and do it at home. But given the intense pain I was in and my concerns about fluid pockets developing post surgery, I decided to go to a professional for at least the first few days. The first two days, I was quiet, just trying to endure recovery, both physically and emotionally. This kind of surgery is a major trauma to the body, and while I was grateful to have support, it was still a lot to process. By the third or fourth session, as I started feeling better, I opened up to my massage therapist, and in turn, she began sharing with me. What started as a necessary part of my recovery became something so much more both physical therapy and emotional therapy. She was incredibly intuitive, knowing exactly when I needed silence and when I needed conversation. The difference I feel on the days I have a massage versus the days I don’t is night and day. My husband is actually encouraging me to go more often because he sees the change in me, less pain, better sleep, an improved mood. This was not one of the places that Dr. Bassin‘s office referred me to. I told the owner that they should take their information over to the office, she said that they had been trying to get with Dr Bassin ‘s office for a long time but never received a response from them. Ironically, this was the most affordable place I found, and I did A LOT of research!! I told Dr. Bassin’s office about my experience with my massage therapist. Because after seeing my results just one week post op, the nurse was blown away! It is not just about the surgery that determines your outcome, but the quality of your recovery is VITAL!! Vicki my massage therapist explained that the burning sensations and sharp pains I occasionally felt were due to my nerves reconnecting to my skin something I wish had been covered at the surgeon’s office. In just a few sessions with her, I learned more than I did in my surgeon’s office. And that says a lot! Over the weekend I was in excruciating pain and when I called Dr Bassin ‘s office, they were closed. I was considering going to the emergency room until I spoke to Vicki. She explained exactly what was happening to my body and what I could do to relieve the pain. Vicki also taught me how to sleep more comfortably and what to do, and what not do during my recovery process. So that I achieve optimal results! Which is why we do something like this in the first place, right?! I could not imagine going through this without this incredible team. I will refer everyone I know. They are at 1177 Louisiana Ave. in Winter Park.

I just had a consultation with Dr. Bassin. He was honest and I felt very comfortable with his opinion. I have festoons. I'm looking forward to my surgery. On another note I went to a couple other surgeons for my condition and they pushed giving me a whole face-lift. Dr. Bassinet looked at what I needed and didn't push any other procedures.

Dr. Bassin and his staff are top notch, providing a superior service with a caring ear. His staff from the front desk to his nurse practitioner Ashley McGee and esthetician Stephene Bassin, are extremely professional and highly experienced. Ashley did an amazing job performing CO2 Laser procedure and correcting my filler injection. Stephen provided me with excellent skin care education to help me maintain my great results. I highly recommend this office.

Unfortunately I had the chin lipo procedure 6 months ago that has delivered absolutely no results. The staff here is amazing and they deserve 5 stars for their services and efforts. I was really hoping for this procedure to have been effective but it just turned out to be a waste of money and time.

Dr Roger is amazing!!!!!!!He has truly changed my life. His bedside manner is unmatched, he explained everything so well and set realistic expectations. I was always confident he had my best interest at heart. My surgery went better than I ever could have imagined. The entire staff and experience has been fantastic. Highly recommend this practice.
