I did extensive research and consulted multiple doctors before choosing Dr. Roy, and I’m so glad I did. Even though I live in LA, I happily make the drive to see him—the entire experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Christine was incredibly kind and patient, answering all my (many) questions and making me feel completely at ease. The nurses were attentive and accommodating to my specific medication preferences during the pre-op call, and on surgery day, I actually had fun! The follow-up care has been just as seamless. Dr. Roy and his team are professional, organized, and genuinely a pleasure to be around. More than that, they make you feel truly cared for every step of the way. Dr. Roy himself is extremely knowledgeable, straightforward, and charismatic. I have high standards and feel 100% confident that I’ve found the best doctor and team for me. I wouldn’t trust anyone else moving forward!

It is sad that as a patient w same doctor and same issue for years, you still have to keep such close eye ! I have seen Dr Swengel for a few years for Botox and filler and always the main issue has been a crease on the side of my lip on one side from sleeping on one side ! Yesterday I went back to deal w the lines around the mouth and spent close to $3000. For that and a little bit in frown line.. today I see that the crease line was not at all addressed which was important and I mentioned it to the nurse and the doctor . So I called and sent photos and they said they show to the doctor and they says doctor said it is swollen and have to wait 2 weeks .. I had to insist that nothing was injected there and they would disagree on the phone so I said I will come in ! The lady on the phone tells me if you come is ok as doctor will tell you the same thing ! I went in and the nurse again (very young) says it is swollen and you need to wait and she says it was addressed yesterday! Unbelievable! I said no ! I had this issue for years and I know if there was an injection or filler there or not ! So finally doctor comes in and says we did not address this yesterday and were focusing on other areas. !!!! Around it ! Humm???! So why little lines are delt with but a big crease not seen ???! Which I brought up and every time I have gone in the past was the first item?! Now it was left behind and stands out even more w smile lines filled in. !! Should a doctor not take a look before walking away? He says if you want we can put half a syringe and fill it.. so I also ask about the two big bumps on my forehead and how long before they go away, the young nurse jumps in and says 2 months!! I questioned her again. 2 months? Turns out, she was not even listening… again /: ! Doctor says 2 weeks ! So the nurse goes to get pricing to fill the area they missed ! $550. For half a syringe !! I am very unhappy on how this was handled and very disappointed! Good doctor in the past BUT too much say is given to young staff who don t have the professional experience and or knowledge to handle all cases . In this case a very concerning issue was clearly missed and I had to press and press and 550 for half of a blueberry ! and staff without base, disagreed with me and responded unprofessionally multiple times by staff is not tolerable ! Price was too high for something that was clearly missed! Refined MD was my go to and I referred them many friends but after this experience I realized as I trusted too much.. I will have to think again before I go back ! So, keep your eyes and ears open and no matter what your experience was last time. Any day things can change and don’t trust this staff, only the doctor !
