A thigh lift is a surgical procedure that reshapes the thighs by

	* Are at or near their ideal body weight
	* Have stubborn fat pockets resistant to diet and exercise
	* Possess good skin elasticity
	* Are non-smokers
	* Maintain realistic expectations and specific goals for their

THE THIGH LIFT PROCEDURE

During your consultation, Dr. Rishavy will evaluate your overall
health, discuss your aesthetic goals, and examine your thighs, skin
quality, and fat distribution. The procedure is typically performed
under general anesthesia as an outpatient surgery. Incisions are made
along natural creases in the groin and may extend to the knee. Through
these incisions, excess skin and fat are removed, and underlying
tissue may be reshaped. The incisions are then closed with sutures.

RECOVERY AND RESULTS

Following thigh lift surgery, patients can expect:

	* Some swelling and bruising, which will subside over time
	* To wear a compression garment or special support hose
	* To return to work within two weeks
	* To avoid strenuous activity for 4-6 weeks
